This is a concept album I could listen to all day. There was a time when I was playing this CD (well CD's) in my car for a good bit. I even had it playing during one of my first dates. The hits really hit. There is a reason Comfortably Number, Another Brick Pt. 2, Hey You, Run Like Hell etc. are so iconic. The tracks are so carefully laid out and the storyline so thoughtfully curated I just get sucked in every time. It helps the whole thing loops so smoothly (perhaps suggesting the difficulty of actually tearing down the wall and making a change)? Every song feels like it serves a greater purpose rather than just being a series of greatest hits. I initially did not like The Trial, it seemed a bit too cartoonish and silly, but I have to admit it dug into my brain like an earworm and I now appreciate it for what it is. I don't really see a flaw with this album. A true 10/10.

For a time this was my favorite Pink Floyd album. There is not a single dull moment to be found here. Peak Waters + Gilmour era. I feel like everything Dark Side did, this album just did better. The Machine might be my favorite Pink Floyd song. - 9.5/10

This is the one that people salivate over. So much so, I almost feel it controversial not to put it at my #1 spot. There isn't anything about this album that hasn't been said before, so I apologize if my justification comes off as a bit negative. It's just how could I say how great this is without having anything remotely unique to say about it? I've listened to it more times than I can count. It was the first album I bought by Pink Floyd. I would consider it to be one of the ultimate comfort albums to just relax to. That said, I've personally never felt it flowed that well. While Money and Time are great, their jarring openings bring the album to a halt. Money and even to an extent Us and Them just feel out of place with the narrative that is being presented. But that's just me. - 8/10

I don't know how much of this one I've really given a chance over the years despite owning a copy. I feel like it's complimentary to Wish You Were Here, but not quite as strong. I feel like you have 3 incredibly solid songs and and opening/closer. For better and for worse (nothing drags), the album feels over as soon as it begins. - 8/10

My feelings for this could change as I'm really just now giving it a chance for the first time, so I'm trying to take that into account when I say.... this is absolute fire. Maybe it's because I love The Wall so much, but I was instantly hooked. The production is *chef's kiss.* The lyrics and narrative are just so good. I know this isn't the general consensus so I want to hold off before I rate it higher. - 8/10

Are people even listening to the same album as me!? This is great. Especially that 2019 mix. The first half of this album is just banger after banger. Steam I feel is lost a bit in the second half, but then we return with the thunderous Sorrow. The lyrics are weaker than some of the other albums here, but really I don't mind when it is such a great listen. - 8/10

I first listened to A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell around the same time, so it's probably for that reason it can be hard to separate the two for me. Take It Back and What Do You Want From Me are incredibly catchy and I am head over heels for the Stephen Hawking section on Keep Talking. Keep Talking really was what reignited my love for the band after taking a break from them for a few years. I just don't quite like all of the songs as much as I do on A Momentary Lapse. - 7.5/10

Really where Pink Floyd started to come into their own. The first and last tracks are obvious standouts. Seamus... um exists. - 7/10

Syd Barrett was the heart and soul of Pink Floyd's psychedelic era and I feel they suffered for awhile searching for their identity after he left the band. Not everything here works, but when it does it's great. - 7/10
