Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)
This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 76.9/100, a mean average of 72.0/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.1/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 19.7.

This is a strong start. Would love to see you expand this list. Nice to see Reflektor on here--it's a tough choice for me to decide which I like better, that one or Funeral. Keep expanding!
Very unique chart.
I can't rate cuz I just don't know how to feel. Bloc Party and The Strokes are among my favorite bands and you've chosen, in my opinion, far and away their worst albums in your top 10. You've also got what I feel to be Muse's worst that high up, Mylo Xyloto which was a train wreck and even the band admits it, it's just a weird chart. Also the Green Day order here is weird, to have your ratings (Nimrod, Dos!, American Idiot, Insomniac) versus the site's (American Idiot, Dookie, Nimrod, 21st) and my own (1039/Smoothed Out, Dookie, Kerplunk, American Idiot) is just weird.
I guess what I'm saying is I like the bands on here, but for the most part, not the albums, so I don't know how to rate it as a result.
Glad to see some albums as Pale Communion or the number one but the chart isn't representative. I encourage you to explore music from other ages.
Not a bad chart, a very modern indeed. I am not saying that the music from here is bad, in fact i really like Muse, but you should know that you are ignoring a lot of excellents bands and albums, the bests for me, wich is the music of the 60' and 70'. And you dont have even one album of that decades! Anyway, good chart, but i think you have to expand your tastes.
Mastodon looks good on here... Some dubious choices, but I like how it's giving credence to some modern albums.
Some really good bands and good albums on here, but you've neglected everything before 1995. And also, you've put Sonic Highways on here...you just listened to it yesterday. Great albums have stand the test of time.
Good stuff from the latest era of rock. Would be great to be rounded with more 70s, 80s and early 90s. Still is good start. Regards from Rocko.
You got some under-rated albums on here. I love One Hot Minute, Renegades. Some good Green Day picks as well. Never heard of Kill the Young, I'll have to check em out.
