"God only knows what I'd be without you." - A quote from one of the best songs of all time.

Pet Sounds remains a story of personal triumph. Brian Wilson fought his label, his bandmates, and his family to bring the album to reality. Against all odds, he harnessed his mental state for genius. He produced and inspired two of music's greatest album ever. "Without Pet Sounds, Sgt. Pepper never would have happened," the Beatles' producer George Martin later said. "Pepper was an attempt to equal Pet Sounds." The most beautiful vocal harmonies ever recorded, in my humble opinion. I think that Pet Sounds might be the greatest pop album ever made.

“And in the end, The love you take, Is equal to the love you make.”

As far as rock music swan songs go, this might be the best there's ever been. From the iconic opening bass line of "Come Together" to the ambitious Side 2 medley to the solemnity-subverting "Her Majesty," the entire album is an unqualified triumph. The medley on Abbey Road always gives me goosebumps and gives me that a feeling of pure joy that no album ever since has. A true masterpiece and and of course a classic album! It definitely deserves it's praise!

"All the lonely people, Where do they all come from? All the lonely people, Where do they all belong?"

Revolver was Beatles first on-purpose masterpiece and the greatest rock album ever made, an album so far ahead of it's time, the world is still catching up with it 50 years later. The Beatles turned themselves inside out on 'Revolver,' exercising a creative freedom following their retirement from the road. They used the studio as their playground, turning the record's 14 songs into the sort of mind-expanding musical template that would influence artists for generations to come. This is where the Beatles jumped into a whole new future - where they truly became the tomorrow that never knows. Time has affirmed the enduring worth of Revolver. It now stands as Beatles greatest album, and for myself; the greatest album of all time. Revolver also got me into albums, so it has a very special place in my heart!

"But she just makes it all too concise and too clear that Johanna's not here. The ghost of electricity howls in the bones of her face, Where these visions of Johanna have now taken my place."

Never thought that Blonde On Blonde would even hit my top 50, haha. Just listened to it again today and absolutely fell in love! Blonde On Blonde might even be better than Highway 61 Revisited? I also looked up the release date of Blonde On Blonde and saw that it was released the same day as Pet Sounds?!? Crazy day and year for music as we know it today.

"I read the news today, Oh boy. About a lucky man who made the grade..."

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is the most important rock & roll album ever made, an unsurpassed adventure in concept, sound, songwriting, cover art and studio technology by the greatest rock & roll group of all time. Inspired by The Beach Boys's Pet Sounds , it's where the Beatles really exploit the studio as the instrument, forgoing live playing for sonic adventure. It is impossible to overstate its impact: from a contemporary Sixties perspective it was utterly mind-blowing and original. Looking back from a point when its sonic innovations have been integrated into the mainstream, it remains a colourful and wildly improbable masterpiece. And I guess that Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band's show will go on forever.

"Well Mack the Finger said to Louie the King, I got forty red, white and blue shoestrings. And a thousand telephones that don’t ring. Do you know where I can get rid of these things. And Louie the King said let me think for a minute son. And he said yes I think it can be easily done, Just take everything down to Highway 61."

The album that we saw Dylan go electric. His lyrics turned more abstract and surreal. If you read a bit more into the lyrics on the song "Like A Rolling Stone" you will find that it's about someone who has experienced a fall from grace, who has been privileged but one day they wake up finding themselves on the verg of homeless. This person has experienced that the world has turned upside down for them and has to figure out how to live their life from scratch. But the whole album is amazing and dosen't have any flaws, in other words a classic album! I think that Desolation Road is my favorite song on Highway 61 Revisited.

"Doesn't have a point of view, Knows not where he's going to, Isn't he a bit like you and me?"

The album that inspired Brian Wilson to make Pet Sounds. The Beatles responded to Beatlemania, Bob Dylan and pop music in general with their milestone sixth album. It inspired tons of artists.I have never experienced the thrill of listening to an album like Rubber Soul, and just singing along to all the beautiful harmonies! At the time it was the most out-there music they'd ever made, but also their warmest, friendliest and most emotionally direct. It was an accidental masterpiece!

"Who knows how long I've loved you, You know I love you still, Will I wait a lonely lifetime, If you want me to, I will."

The White Album is a glorious mess, a schizophrenic work of 30 songs sprawled over two discs. Many were written on acoustic guitar while the band was in India. It’s amazing to contemplate that only four years prior, The Beatles’ spate of singles like “I Want to Hold Your Hand” and “Can’t Buy Me Love”. Now they were putting out tunes like “Helter Skelter”, “Happiness Is a Warm Gun” and “Yer Blues”. This album has it all, from genres like country to heavy metal. A true classic that takes a few listens to grasp.

"Feeling sweet feeling, Drops from my fingers fingers, Manic depression is captured my soul."

Jimi Hendrix Experience’s Are You Experienced was a game changer. After hearing the album for the first time, what guitarist dosen’t think, “Oh s—, what do I do now?” As the Summer of Love kicked into gear, the release of Are You Experienced preceded the Beatles‘ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by nearly a month, which was a big time frame in 1967 terms. New sounds and styles exploded at every turn. Are You Experienced, the debut release by The Jimi Hendrix Experience is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential debut albums of all time. Are You Experienced, turned the music world upside down as Hendrix showed everyone exactly what it meant to be ‘experienced."
