Finally managed to pick up a decent copy of:

A Gift From A Flower To A Garden by Donovan

US press, box intact but a little dog-eared, all inserts... but the coup de grace was the records themselves, which are practically mint as previous owner had kept them in anti-static inners

You bastard! That should be MINE! MINE! MINE! 😈

Just seeing this now as I drink a Hamm's & the kids are tucked in asleep. Nice score! I want those inserts - bad! And mint records!!! Ugh! Mine are just fair - good.

Don't know if I put this here or not yet,but I recently scored...

Blue Bell Knoll by Cocteau Twins

...on vinyl. And it's amazing. Was looking for Victorialand obvs, but sometimes u just take what u can get. lol.

Sounds awesome. Another overlooked Cocteau album. Just lovely.

I daren't tell you how much (or little) I paid for it then! 🫢

In other news:

Fuchsia by Fuchsia

Prog-folk stuff from the 70s. Nice sounding but luridly coloured fuchsia-coloured wax

Levelling The Land by The Levellers

Quid from a charity shop. Put it on and the missus starting singing One Way. She said she used to be an indie kid. 25 years later and it's all about Mickey Bubbles

Any Way That You Want Me by Evie Sands

Nabbed off Discogs from some record shop in Salt Lake City. Always loved this LP

Plus a couple of LPs on Studio One you've never heard of. Probably.

Townes Van Zandt by Townes Van Zandt

A very wise move - my all-time favourite Studio One LP. In fact I think I'm going to stick it on right now...
