"It feels like a long, warm embrace. Love the guitar playing and strings arrangements, and Ms Marling is as strong as ever lyrically. Moving stuff, really, perfect for the fall season"  Reply

"Sounds like Zappa mouth raped Trent Reznor, shot a mutated semen load into his belly, and laughed a few weeks later as he watched Mr. NIN shit out this strangely awesome brood. Great album."  Reply

"The previous album was so frustrating, mainly in that it certainly felt quite personal but so musically trite and thin that it couldn't really support the emotional weight of the lyrics. "Hardest rocking Hip album, oozing the most attitude. Not as many classics as other early Hip work, but the album as a whole shows them really flexing their muscle. A vital Hip album."  Reply
