He doesn't sound like a gorilla. Maybe I'm not giving gorillas enough credit. I can dig it.
One of my all-time favorite albums. This album has helped to shape the way I view music these days. Local Natives sets the bar high with musical content and quality of writing... and let's not forget about those harmonies. Easily one of the coolest albums to have come out in recent years.
An extremely underrated album, every time I listen to it I hear small little things that make this album very good.
It's a disgrace that Green Day is rated higher than this.

This is seriously one of my favorite albums I own. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to this album over and over again. So phenomenal.

one of the first real bands i saw live and it was incredible. i started going to concerts monthly
First 5-6 tracks = Awesomesauce
Sticky Thread & Cubism Dream = Also Awesomesauce
The rest of the album = Suckishsauce

The first four tracks of this are all above average, but nothing I haven't heard from the likes of Grizzly Bear, Bon Iver, or Fleet Foxes in the last three years. I can't say I'll even remember this album in three years.
The album has a nice life of its own. Shape Shifter is the best one.
