"A good album by the great Brazilian composer and masterful lyricist, marred by a few less exciting tracks, especially on the B side (although all of them are sophisticated and classy). Highlights are "O Que Será? (À Flor da Terra)" (with Milton Nascimento, who would record another version of this..." [+] Reply
"Great debut album. Excited to hear more from these guys. I hear bits of Muse and "The Bends" era Radiohead in a few of these songs." Reply

"This is a pretty underrated album, this album grew on me quickly and there are many tracks here I found to be overlooked such as Liar, Chemical, Everyone Everywhere, Young Offender, etc. The singles are great too. I don't know how people aren't paying attention to this album." Reply

"I don't think it is appropriate here to call DCD "Gothic" or “Gothic Rock”. The music on the first album is not really indebted to "Gothic", unless you think the electric guitar would have been inspired a bit too much by the work of The Cure and the likes.
