"Toad the Wet Sprocket is one of those perfect artists for the void left between Kurt's passing and "what came next". Tortured, introspective, conflicted and yet melodic, i'd consider this alternative album near-great if not for the over-extended, non-hooky closing dirge. If you want a good exampl..."  [+]  Reply

"Good but the scatting gets a bit annoying, but the absolutely brilliant version of, Angel eyes, is worth the price of admission alone. Although, I'd rather hear a sax or a trumpet instead of Ella's vocal improvisations, it's still good if you can get past them."  Reply

"It's Power Windows Mark II, which is not a bad thing at all. This used to be my favorite Rush album, but I can't overlook the mid-tempo mediocrity of songs like "Prime Mover" and "High Water". The songs can get a little samey on this album until you listen to them enough. With that said, "Force T..."  [+]  Reply

"It’s an awfully bold statement, “Save Rock And Roll", especially coming from Fall Out Boy. If I had to pick a band to “save rock and roll", it most likely would not be Fall Out Boy, a band that has been the absolute definition of mediocrity, a band that hasn’t been able to stop writing the same s..."  [+]  Reply

"S-K's amazing and best punk album. The riffs here are uniquely brilliant with Tucker and Brownstein inventing their unique way of interlocking vocals and guitar lines "Call the Doctor", "Hubcap" "Taste Test". Aggressive feminism tracks "I'm not Waiting" and 'Taking Me Home" really hot home. Macfa..."  [+]  Reply
