It's got some brilliant cuts in streets of love, biggest mistake and laugh, I nearly died. The best track has to be the funky, rain fall down, one of the b..."  [+]  Reply

"The ultimate travesty is that this band is remembered for one song (Sex and Candy). When their entire debut is made up of whimsical stories and memorable songs from the wonderful mind of John Wozniak, who is a criminally underrated songwriter. This album deserves multiple listens and respect."  Reply

"Some of the strongest songs he ever wrote are on here, but also some of his most bland songs are on here, which makes it his weakest album so far. The upbeat funk songs make the album, the slow songs drag it down. He writes great slow songs too, but most of them on this album drag the album as a ..."  [+]  Reply

"Buddy really nailed it with this one and helped usher in yet another blues revival. His singing and playing are both so full of soul and expression and the production is crystal clear. Magnificent modern blues album!"  Reply

"I can't say enough positive things about this multi-genre music. They were so great, so innovative, so ahead of their time, able to cross over into any genre, and their songs are so, so enduring. Fan of rock ? This stuff rocks. Need the funk? This is funk 101. Wanna dance? How could you not! Need..."  [+]  Reply

"In 1978 Alice Cooper decided to make a record telling his real life at the moment: the fight against alcoholism. With the help of Bernie Taupin (Elton John's lyricist), he produced one of the best albums of his career (in my opinion, THE best). A first line studio musicians band, a varied, well c..."  [+]  Reply
