"As my musical taste matured growing up, I never grew out of this album. The best of a low-esteemed genre of music. Its a great break-up album, that speaks to teenage emotions even as an adult."  Reply

"Absolutely brilliant. So much detail and complexity here, and the songs aren't in a hurry either. Definitely the work of somebody who knows exactly what he is doing and possesses an ear for total precision. The production is, of course, stunning (if you didn't know, Jonathan Wilson has produced j..."  [+]  Reply

"Literally the best reggae record I've ever heard. Sunny harmonies, beautiful melodies, and stunning songwriting. Heartwarming, really. It just wants to be your friend. Why refuse?"  Reply

"Usually my response to "my new album is '80s inspired" is "oh really, how refreshing" in a very sarcastic tone. The disaster of Muse's last album and the infinite blandness of Dua Lipa's latest release (however the opinions are divided on that) are proof of that. But someone who even dares to bri..."  [+]  Reply

"One of Ryan Adams' best albums. It was originally two separate records but here is the collective edition. Some fine songs here including, this house is not for sale, avalanche, I see monsters, and, anybody wanna take me home. For an Adams album it's extremely consistent, not something he's renou..."  [+]  Reply

"Beat saw the New York duo embrace technology, marrying drum loops to their honeyed space rock. It's ceaseless repetition never wanes but somnambulantly drifts and drifts."  Reply

"Well it had to happen eventually. After releasing three really good albums, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have finally released a mediocre album. “Mosquito" feels disjointed and, honestly, kind of boring, which is the exact opposite of what you’d expect from a Yeah Yeah Yeahs album. They’ve built they’re c..."  [+]  Reply

"It is a unique and distinctive album. The band developed its own unique style, characterized by a mixture of post-punk, gothic rock, folk and ambient. They uses a variety of instruments to create a unique soundscape. This album was a commercial success and brought the band international recognition"  [+]  Reply

"A Massive double album when it was released in 1975, "Gratitude" was a landmark album by the predominately African American populated R & B group. Combining live cuts taken from a nationwide tour and interspersing in Studio Tracks of another five additional new songs, Earth, Wind and Fire brought..."  [+]  Reply
