"Slow-core at its best. This is actually quite heavy, the distortion is loud and the lyrics tender. The lead singer sings on Wird: "I wanna walk/But I have to crawl", and I guess that sums up Codeine's music as well. They could play fast and aggressive, but instead they tone it down and plays in a..."  [+]  Reply

"Originally my Number One album of 2001, in a year that I saw her live, which may have had some influence on my feelings toward this album. I still love this one, even though it's a change of pace from her classic previous release, Car Wheels. This one is much more bare and subtle than the classic..."  [+]  Reply
