"Home Is Where are an emo band out of Florida. Their 18-minute debut from 2021 had its moments – "Assisted Harakiri" was particularly great – but even then, they sounded like a band doing a competent job of recreating a well-trodden strand of emo. I didn't have big expectations for their follow-up..."  [+]  Reply

"An excellent live album, full of energy and crammed with the best of Tull from several albums including 'Aqualung', 'Thick as a Brick', 'Songs From the Wood', 'Minstrel in the Gallery', 'War Child', to name but a few. A great introduction to early Jethro Tull. The vinyl experience is fantastic if..."  [+]  Reply

"Heavy guitar giving a gothic account of Norse mythology. It kinda works, although I would just as soon listen to genuine Viking Metal for this sort of thing (the group Tyr vice the Sabbath album Tyr)."  Reply

""Supremes A Go Go" is classical Tamla-Motown featuring the great hits "Love is Like an Itching in My Heart" and "You Can't Hurry Love". Moreover the Supremes give versions of acts like Four Tops and Temptations hits with "I Can't Help Myself" as the most successful, without reaching the high stan..."  [+]  Reply

"I was apprehensive, since I really did not like Cerulean Salt. This is exactly the album I would've wanted from Waxahatchee. Well-written, full-sounding track after track. Dynamic and captivating across the board. Maybe not the most exciting record of the year, but solid through and through."  Reply

"This wonderful band that always sailed on the edge of insignificance in the indie genre and yet released one extraordinary album after the other. And then, when you think things can't get any harder in this band's life, then bring this masterpiece! Well, I had to cry a little. I admit it"  Reply
