"One of the more curiously produced albums of 2025. Just wild and well-written enough to not sound amateurish. Imagination and strong compositions can make up for a lot!"  Reply

"One of Gil's classics, although not his best (but that's a matter of personal taste). The title track is the most well-known, but Dominguinho's "Lamento Sertanejo" is another memorable moment. "Tenho Sede" would have its definitive version in Gil's wonderful "MTV Unplugged"."  Reply

"A couple very nice songs, like Song on the Radio, Palace of Versailles, and especially the title track. Not quite as memorable or consistent as Year of the Cat, but a strong follow-up."  Reply

""This album outperforms its predecessor, which felt like dissonant noise. The current sound is more engaging, replete with pleasing melodies and intriguing songs. A nice piece of work."  Reply
