Some guests show up, including Dead Kennedys drummer East Bay Ray and St. Vincent's Annie Clark, but it mostly..."  [+]  Reply

"On any given day this album is my absolute favorite. The Blasters is, in a word, rock n' roll (ok, that's three). Excepting Elvis, Little Richard and Jerry Lee...this is the truest form of the art form. Dave Alvin can flat write a great song, and Phil is THE VOICE. Dude can belt. And Marie Marie ..."  [+]  Reply

"Great album, even if i cannot understand Hungarian at all!!! Perfect link between beat and classic rock; the most surprising is... Hungarian language perfectly fits with rock!"  Reply

"Like Load, it's been slammed by the purists. I applaud Metallica's attempt to change and grow. This album is inconsistent, but it's entirely listenable, with some pretty strong tracks. Way better than St. Anger."  Reply

"This is the album that introduced me to Bonnie Raitt. Bought it from a second hand shop in 2022 on a whim and loved it straight away. I am now slowly making my way through her backlog, enjoying each new record I discover. So glad I took that chance, and I have the rest of her catalogue to look fo..."  [+]  Reply

"26 January 2014 "Nashville Skyline" is a unique classic in Dylan's discog. It is undeniably the masterpiece of that era of Dylan. What made that album so special to me is how natural, joyous and unserious it seemed while still being economical and beautifully written. Other albums of that time di..."  [+]  Reply
