"If you don't consider the movie & gospel albums as concept albums, this is the first concept album of Elvis. A very wide variety of country songs done perfectly. This is his best album of the seventies." Reply
"If you want to listen to one single song, listen then to "people help the people". Fragile, beautiful." Reply

"A synth pop opera of emotional shipwrecks!!!" Reply
"I don't quite agree with benjameen that the songs all sound the same. Alive is a great summer pop song, but the entire album is chalk full of songs that aren't just "party tracks." "Cute album, songs are very short! 28 minutes for 15 songs, it makes them more appreciable, even if it's a bit repetitive... Best track : Fool" Reply
"Music doesn't really deserve 100/100 (not progressive enough), but the emotional roller coaster culminating in the transition between "Big Love" and "Over My Head" on my version of the CD is so beautiful that I have to give it 100 points out of debt for what it brings to me." Reply
"A very good sounding album. Didn't stand out to me too much but I liked it." Reply
"Teenybopper Brit-pop tunes with some funk/Latin characteristics thrown in. A little monotonous but still fairly strong, and worth checking out for fans of artists like The English Beat, Orange Juice, XTC, etc." Reply
"A beautiful album. Peter Gabriel sings some of his classic songs over some lovely orchestration. I was a bit dubious before I heard this but it is quite sublime. Excellent." Reply
