"I wish I loved the third and final Petty/Lynne production more than I did, I still think Full Moon Fever is his greatest record. Still, it's a really solid Tom album. Best song(s): "Saving Grace" "Flirting With Time" "This Old Town"" Reply
"This album is very short and sweet, but it's the perfect place to start listening to Randy Newman, not so much of the later acidic comedy boy stuff, but still enough subtlety and irony-tinged popular tunesmithery to keep your interest play after play. Classy." Reply
"A nice album, similar to this year's Case, Lang and veirs. Good songs, nice arrangements and wonderful performances from Dolly, Emmylou and Linda make this a thoroughly enjoyable record. Sweet music." Reply
""Puff" is the highlight; has some other nice stuff, but a few dud tracks, notably "Old Coat" and "Morning Train"." Reply

"While their 80's work made them a household name throughout the world, I actually prefer their hard rocking 70's stuff. They got on a run for a while that was incredible." Reply

"This is a such a cool album - glad to have discovered it on BEA!" Reply
"The missing link between pub rock and punk rock, but to me they still lean towards the first. There's some great covers here (The Kids Are Alright is top) but the best one remains the last track, On The Run, which on live albums is even longer and better than on this regular album. Not everything..." [+] Reply
"Some of these songs are among Bob Mould's best. I think this album is unfairly overlooked." Reply
