"69 is as important as Treasure by Cocteau Twins and Isn't Anything by My Bloody Valentine when it comes to pioneering the shoegaze movement. 69 is an album in its own dimension. "This is my favorite album by these guys. This is when they went full out metal. Still a few traces of punk in the vocals but Rocky is a full metal guitarist. Go N' Breakdown is an instant thrash classic."  Reply

"Swing out Sister's music is happy and uplifting imo. There are some great tracks here, Breakout, Surrender and Fooled by a Smile are particular favourites. Most tracks are underpinned by really simple yet effective electric bass lines. As fresh today as when it was released in the eighties."  Reply

"An overlooked disco album, up here with the best. It contains some of the most inspired tracks of the style like "Angel In My Pocket" or the instrumental epic "The End"."  Reply
