"One of John Fahey's best releases. It was originally meant to be a double album, and reissues have re-included a bunch of wonderful tracks that were left out on the first release. The version of America on this is possibly my favourite moment in his entire career." Reply

"This album is all about melancholia and being happy to be sad. There are a few great tracks (Mess Of Me, Hello Hurricane, The Sound, Needle and Haystack Life) and few bad ones (Always, Free, Your Love Is A Song).
