"A great modern punk record, cleanly produced but with just enough DIY energy that it sounds right. I may be outing myself a little here, but punk music always sounds better when when made by socialists. However, interesting in this case (while it's invariably a left-wing project), the anti-capita..."  [+]  Reply

A more vulnerable and musically diverse release from Uboa's previous industrial onslaughts, she expands her sound here in alw..."  [+]  Reply

"One of John Fahey's best releases. It was originally meant to be a double album, and reissues have re-included a bunch of wonderful tracks that were left out on the first release. The version of America on this is possibly my favourite moment in his entire career."  Reply

"A beautiful lost folk masterpiece, featuring something of a who's who of English folk musicians amongst the credits (Richard Thompson, Keith Christmas, arrangements by Robert Kirby - of Nick Drake fame). In a similar vein to Vashti, Shelagh disappeared without trace soon after, although more do t..."  [+]  Reply

"This album is all about melancholia and being happy to be sad. There are a few great tracks (Mess Of Me, Hello Hurricane, The Sound, Needle and Haystack Life) and few bad ones (Always, Free, Your Love Is A Song). There's a song like "Bullet Soul" in just every Switchfoot album. "Enough To Let Me ..."  [+]  Reply

"Amazing singing. Makes any bizarre lyric sound completely musical and rhythmically perfect. The music reach its power through its dynamics. Truly one of portuguese music's masterpiece."  Reply
