Wow! I wish I had known about this back in 2007. I would of been one of my favourite ever back then. 'Giving up On Love' sounds much more angry than all those bands that think screaming the vocals makes them angry. The album holds up well through out and is really enjoyable with song after song. How I Spent My Summer Vacation became too conversational for my liking, like he was sitting next to me on the bus randomly telling me it all and I'm just nodding and saying "yes". But overall brilliant album. Well worth a second listen. Good one 247joelnetwork!
The ultimate record for the 90's/00's nostalgic type. Emo at its purest. Catcher In The Rye in the form of an album. If that sounds appealing, then let me assure you, IT IS PERFECT. It flawlessly executes its intent. "End Is Forever" is the ultimate homage the devastation you feel when your first love runs it's course. Remember that feeling ? Horrible !
