Probably the best Colosseum II album with some real stand out tracks. Gary Moore and Jon Hiseman at times are really on fire but there are one or two fairly ordinary tracks. Many will enjoy the mixture of musical styles but for me the heavier numbers hit the sweet spot.
You only need to look at the band members and you expect this to be class and it delivers totally. A mixture of styles encompassing heavy rock, jazz, funk and blues. The lack of vocals is easily made up for by stunning musicianship throughout. In fact, there are vocals on one track but that track is actually my least favourite.
