Super catchy stuff, but it feels like something is missing, can't quite put my finger on it.
A fantastic and accessible album that was understandably their "big hit". No bad tracks, but Stadium Love could be stronger. Gimme Sympathy, Satellite Mind, and Gold Guns Girls are the standouts and I would recommend them to anyone with even a passing interest in indie rock or indie pop
This is more accessible and as a result more popular. Metric does party music extremely well. A very fun and enjoyable album.

This album is just excellent, straight indie pop with several brilliant songs!
Every track is good/great, but as a whole, it works best as background music.

Best tracks: Sick Muse, Help I'm Alive, Collect Call.
Fancy sort of mess. Their next album was better. Could try this again I suppose.

This is a poppy breakthrough album that goes more for appealing than punky. So this is their sellout, then.... so what. Emily Haines deserves to be known... and to set more hearts beating like a hammer, indeed.
I enjoyed it, favs; 'Sick muse' 'Gold guns girls' and 'Gimme sympathy'.
