I was late to the party with this one , it was literally the last of a long list 2017 albums I needed to check out . I'd listened to it in bits and pieces and finally got around to properly listen 3 full times.
Its extremely poppy , think a poppier Panic At The Disco . Its Ok but ultimately just too sugary for my liking . There are some good moments here such as 'Lets Get Married ' ,'Dream of Mickey Mantle' and 'I'm Ready To Move On (reprise )
"Gone Now " just misses out on making my 2017 Best List as ultimately I just cant see myself returning for more listens
