Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 73.5/100, a mean average of 73.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 73.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.4.

Strong album from Fleetwood Mac's transitional years. Bob Welch and Danny Kirwan are really on top of their game here—Future Games is among Fleetwood Mac's best songs, Sands of Time is also great, and both Sometimes and Lay It All Down are underrated pieces of their catalog. A couple nice Christine McVie songs too, it's a pretty solid listen all throughout.

I really like this one, pretty strong all the way through. Great guitar work too.

This is a pretty solid album, really cool.
Well maybe it's filler. But I like it. The songs sound half thought out and there's a weird echoey reverb on the vocals which are mixed very low. That said the arrangements a full of unexpected changes and rhythmic shifts. Plus all the songs have excellent guitar work featuring mostly Danny Kirwan. He was no Peter Green but then no one was.

Removed from Green's blues roots, Danny Kirwan delivers the group with three stunning compositions (Woman of a Thousand Years, Sands of Time & Sometimes). Moving towards Pop/Rock, it is worth listening to it once you approach it with no expectations of past greatness.
Not their best record.
Best Track: Lay It All Down

Bork is right: Not bad but uninteresting.

If it hadn't been for closing with Show Me a Smile, this would have been an entire album full of filler. Not bad but uninteresting.
