This album is actually not all that easy to describe. I guess I'd describe it as a smart, soulful pop album built around all kinds of drum 'n' bass / trip hop / breakbeat type sounds. It's the quality of the songs on 'Resist' that really make it work, though - there could be anything up to a dozen excellent tracks here out of the 15 that are on it ('Empty Skies', 'Hungry' and the title track probably being the big standouts).
