No ODB = less edge than usual. Still, this is strong work.

A very nice, if uneven album. There's definitely a huge hole left by the absence of ODB, but he had been scaled out slowly throughout the time right before this album so it wasn't a huge shock. By this point there wasn't a lot of trailblazing left to do, but there was still some good new sound left to discover, especially in the track Back in the Game which is strong enough to be among the top Wu cuts in history. Uzi (Pinky Ring) also comes strong, even somehow managing to get U-God positively involved. No skits or other bullshit to weigh this down either. There is a pretty annoying guest spot by Flavor Flav, but that's easily ignored. Recommended.
