Ash are still around and in 2018 releasing albums , I thought they went into retirement a few years ago ?
That be as it may this album is no 1977 but its not the worst either
The opening trio tracks in "True Story" / "Annabel" and the expletive riddled "Buzzkill" all go OK as does "Silver Suit" further on and moody closer "Incoming Waves"
Unfortunately these good moments are let down by the stinkers "Confessions In The Pool" / "Don't Need Your Love" and "Is It True?"
I'm giving this album a pass but its not an album I feel particularly motivated to return to following my initial few listens
