Stonker of a rock album, the guy can sure play guitar. I think this is his best work, better than Double Live Gonzo which suffers from poor recording quality compared to this studio album. When I was in my teens this guy was allegedly the loudest artist on the circuit. I would imagine he put on a hell of a show.
Good album with mostly decent songs. Steady right through. Few songs have a similar feel about them but overall the man knows how to play. Guitars, riffs, rock.
This may be Ted's most consistent album. No duds on this one. I have always loved "Death By Misadventure" and "Sweet Sally" as often they are overlooked. This album is deep with killer cuts beyond the well known title track.

Well I can't help but say it, but Ted Nugent can definitely scorch a guitar... but every time he opens his mouth the song is pretty much killed.
Best songs are Live it Up, Workin' Hard, Playin' Hard, and Homebound, IMO, none of which got much airplay. Wang Dang Sweet Poontang is a horrid song, however, surpassed in awfulness only by the even more wretched Wango Tango.
Best Track: Cat Scratch Fever
This one is a classic. Ted definitely can play the guitar. I think his first three or four are definitely worthy of any collection.
