Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Poppys sophomore Studioalbum 'Am I A Girl?' is quite the strongest pop record of the year.
creepy youtube sensation turned pop star Poppy returns with her second LP after the pretty good "Poppy.Computer". Through her youtube vids, Poppy has frequently explored identity and the distinction (or perhaps, lack of) between woman and machine , this exploration goes further on "Am I A Girl?" with subtext on gender and sexual fluidity. Musically it's quite interesting as well, with Poppy flirting with alt metal (no... seriously) along with her usual cool electropop. it's another success and feels tighter than her last.
