Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A great neo-prog album that gets ambitious, but stays mostly well mannered. There is the full side single cut, which holds together well and a nice collection of other great Spock-ish stuff to keep it company.
