The main reasons "Damita Jo" was a commercial failure was because of the attitude people have towards women, a mistake that wasn't even Janet's fault, and because there was no standout single. Aside from this, this is consistent for Janet. The album sexy and it sounds pretty happy and calm. Very good!!
