This is a fantastic album of covers by a trio of Chris Whitley, Billy Martin and Chris Wood. (Artist should say "Featuring Billy Martin and Chris Wood" but I don't know how to fix it...
It's a jazzy/bluesy take on some great songs by people like Bob Dylan (2 songs), Lou Reed, Howlin' Wolf, Hendrix,
the Doors, and others. There's not a weak track on it. My personal favorite is 'Spanish Harlem Incident'.
It's completely mellow, moody, and utterly enjoyable. It's been one of my favorite albums since it came out in 2000.
