This shit is hard as fuck.

The production and samples are tight. Check out the laid-back guitar-lick sample on "pyrex vision" or cooing woos on "new wu". (the opening "have mercy" sample reminds me of messiah's "21st century jesus".) The delivery is often commanding and in-your-face like opening song "house of flying daggers". Ghostface hits as hard as "fishscale". But raekwon can also pull back smoove like on the praying track "have mercy". In a year where I didn't hear much rap/hip-hop and what I did hear didn't impress much, raekwon stood out.
