One of Richard Hawley's best albums. Truelove's gutter, is an intimate record with moments of release making the music big and powerful. Some beautiful songs in, ashes on the fire, for your lover take some time, and, soldier on. Best of all though is, open up your door, quite majestic. A great record with shades of dark and light.
One of the most underated singer and composer. Awesome record, must be on top 500.
