Eurythmics debut was not released in the U.S. early in their career. This is an excellent post punk album which has a dreamy and psychedelic feel but with an edge to it. I think this would surprise a lot of people and this certainly deserves to be discovered.
Eurythmics debut is more focused on experimental electronic music and less focused on the soulfulness of Annie Lennox' voice. Not a lot of peaks or valleys, but very listenable. "English Summer" and "Never Gonna Cry Again" come off best.
