Multi-instrumentalist Gota Yashiki experienced plenty of success in Japan and Europe as a collaborator of prominent artists including Soul II Soul, Seal, and Sinead O'Connor. Here he releases his first U.S. distributed solo release - a mix of acid-jazz/dub/electro-funk in 1997 on Instinct (Cat: EX347-2). Along the way he collaborates with Bernie Worrell, guitarist Jim Mullen, vocalist Vivienne McKone and Kenji Jammer. A 21st century jazz album for sure. Authenticated on discogs.com
