The best from Brent Best and Slobberbone. This is prime hard rock with a twangy twist. The songwriting can be happy, humorous, melodramatic and forlorn...sometimes all in the same song. Patterson Hood from Drive-By Truckers is featured here on "Lazy Guy."

The third of four Slobberbone albums. This is just a great rock band, it's a damn shame they didn't keep going. Hopefully rumors of a reunion are true. Every song on this is good, my favorites are "Gimme Back My Dog" "Lumberlung" and "Some New Town."
