If you're looking for Cat's sweet melodies and tenderly contemplative lyrics, look elsewhere. This one is dark, brooding, biting, and challenging.
That said, I find it to be far away his greatest, and most compelling album. He loads this one with overpowering dramatic impact and the natural gravel of his voice comes out perfectly. (Edited)
