Top 100 Music Albums of 1972

By now I was well on my way to a decent collection of vinyl albums (courtesy of the Australian Record Club) as well as my first Dylan bootlegs (courtesy of a second hand record shop in downtown Sydney).
Music was now occupying most of my spare time - often shared with high school classmates after school.
1972 ranks 4th highest out of the 65 years between 19670 - 2024 in my favourite year chart with at least 4 albums making my top 100 greatest albums of all time.
