El segundo disco que escuché de esta magnifica banda, si bien Aqualung me pareció bastante bueno, Thick As a Brick me mostró que esta es una banda que merece mucho más aprecio del que posee, con un Ian Anderson excepcional en guitarra y flauta y Jeffrey Hammond con líneas de bajo asombrosas y una historia fenomenalmente contada a lo largo de una épica cancíon dividida en dos partes.

El genio musical de Bowie es algo que nadie puede negar, y este álbum es la cumbre del Glam Rock narrando la historia de Ziggy (un extraterrestre bisexual de imagen andrógina) en donde cada melodía, cada nota y cada palabra del disco funcionan a la perfección con la teatralidad y la ciencia ficción traida a escena por el maestro Bowie.

Un album asombroso y claro influyente del Hard Rock y Heavy Metal, contando con la mejor alineación que Deep Purple tuvo a mi parecer lograron crear un trabajo lleno de un clásico tras otro.
