Guster takes over college radio! Everyone throws on this summer spinner smoking doobies and loving being young.
That's what this offers and not much to any age range behind or ahead of it. And for that, it can't be considered better than what is to come in Keep It Together and Ganging Up On The Sun.
The play off each other vocals and hand drumming is good. Its an uber happy album. At that time I thought Rainy Day, Happier, and What You Wish For were classic classic songs!
I have gone back and only Happier can still be considered that. Everything else here is good enough to be background music during a grill and pool party for the neighbors.
Reading back on this, I am hating on it more than I probably should. What it offers, it does very well, and for that its 80 out of 100. But I recommend the next 2 albums as keepers in your catalogue.
