I've found this doesn't grab you straight away with the first few tracks. But it does get better and suck you in as it goes. It did take a while to grow on me. Musically some great metal tunes through this. Personally not a big fan of the vocals though.

Lamb Of God continue to do what they do best, and that’s rip your face off with metal. One of the things I’ve always loved about Lamb Of God is you can tell how talented they are as musicians. Whenever there’s a guitar solo, it’s pure metal, but you can hear hints of blues to it. They never play fast for the sake of playing fast, like some metal bands do. They play what the song needs and they do it perfectly. I highly recommend this album to any fan of metal and if you’re not a fan of metal yet, this isn’t a bad album to start on.
