Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 3% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 77.4/100, a mean average of 76.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 77.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 15.6.

Best Morrisey solo album, anyone agree?
Favorite Tracks:We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful
Posiblemente el mejor álbum de Morrissey. Así hubiera sonado la continuación de Strangeways, Here We Come si los Smiths no se hubieran separado.
Certainly one of Morrissey's best solo efforts, it sounded a little like a Smiths album in 1992 and continues to do so. It's always a good sign, when the poorest effort here (Fatty) never fails to raise a smile.
Really good album. Consistent tracks with tracks like Seasick, We Hate It, The National Front Disco, Tomorrow. This is probably one of Morrissey's best solo efforts!
The album starts out strong, but then turns. I'll give it a try again the next time my heart gets broken.
A great album by Mozz
A great rock n roll record.
One of Morrissey's livelier outings and all the better for it.
Morrissey's best album and his most controversial. The weakest songs here are oddly enough the singles We Hate It..., Fatty, and Tomorrow. What does it all mean? Don't ask me, I'm not Morrissey.
