Man there is just something about hearing somebodies struggle just to get blindsided by them going to therapy in the last song. needless to say I liked this album quite a bit.
It's a shame that people will miss such a masterpiece because of "furry" cover. "Monarch of Monsters" is one of the most impressive albums I've ever heard, from the really interesting story about self-destruction and alienation, to amazing performances and songwriting, that combines bittersweet sadness with haunting, almost scary atmosphere. Zelda's voice surprisingly very diverse and amazing, she can sing with softest tones, and then make terrifying screamings. So please, leave your prejudices and listen to this album, some parts of this can be really stunning.
