It may be nostalgia, or it could also be that this album is actually incredible.
I'm not a big P.O.D. fan generally, but I enjoy every song on this album (besides Rock the Party - Off the Hook, which is terrible). In particular, Lie Down is a great example of simple musical elements coming together in a greater than the sum of its parts feat of heavy rock.
