This is simply a delightful album. Derek Trucks guitar work has a sweet eastern sound to it. Some great keyboards and organ. Guest singers include Doyle Bramhall II and Susan Tedeschi. Trucks Band lead singer Mike Mattison has a really cool voice. There are originals on here, but also some very good covers (very different from the originals). Bob Dylan's Down in the Flood is covered, as is a blues song by Big Maybelle, I Know, and a Paul Pena song, Something to Make You Happy. Originals Get What You Deserve, Already Free, Goin' Home (a bonus track on Itunes), Days is Almost Gone, Back Where I Started. All very good. If you like contemporary blues, soul, gospel...you will listen repeatedly.
