If I knew The Fall better, I'd probably like this album better. But it's still solid.
I like this band's cohesive sound, you can tell they had played a lot of music together. Great bass riffs, and for post-punk it is pretty unique sounding and adventurous. I also liked the punk attitude of Smith's vocals. They run out of good tunes in the second half, but still manage to sound interesting. Good album overall. (Edited)

How could you not love their version of lost in music uh. Quality album. A good version of the fall.
