Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. This album is 36 minutes of waiting for something to happen. Listening to it, I'm constantly just waiting for the distorted guitar awesome loud chorus or something to finally happen... but it never comes. They have some good starts to songs, and then each and every one goes nowhere. There is no strong finale, crescendo, powerful coda, anything to give the songs any sense of flow. There are no high points, and no low points. Just a bunch of slow burning mediocrity. It's actually almost annoying to listen to and hearing all the potential of these songs and how poorly they were executed
Not bad but a few too many tracks with a lack of 'oomph' for me, a couple of poor ones, and no top quality tracks that really rival their best.
