I don't think Bad Luck Streak in Dancing School has the volume of the strong tracks that the first two major label Warren Zevon records, but its still a really enjoyable ride. Zevon's lyrics are addictive. The oddest of all is Gorilla, You're a Desperado where he sings about a gorilla who steals his glasses, car and identity while he's at the zoo. Jeanie Needs a Shooter is a reworked Bruce Springsteen song that ended up making an appearance in its original state on Letter to You in 2020.
