Raw to the Bone is Twin Barrels Burning with even less guitar solos and even more stupid lyrics. Not good!
Starts off alright with some fun rockers, Cell of Fame and Love Is Blue being the best of the bunch, but the act quickly becomes tired by the second half with the same rote hard rock sound and poor lyrics. The intricate guitar solos and unique lyrics that made Wishbone Ash a fantastic band to begin with are hardly present. Not a terrible album, but far from Wishbone Ash's best stuff. Only worth exploring a handful of songs and giving one or two listens for completionist's sake.
